FULL DAY TOUR ANTALYA OLD CITY & SHOPPING

In the morning, departure from your hotel with the first stop being Kurşunlu Waterfalls which is located 19 km from Antalya at the end of a 7 km road branching off to the north of the Antalya-Serik-Alanya highway at a point 12 km from Antalya. The waterfalls are on one of the tributaries of the Aksu River and its situation in the midst of a pine forest is of quite exceptionally beauty. The countryside around the water forms a lovely picnic and pleasure spot only twenty minutes from the centre of the city of Antalya. Drive to Antalya.

Antalya City Centre for half-day sightseeing and shopping, including “Kaleiçi” (the Old City), where you can explore the old winding cobbled streets searching for its hidden treasures in the form of silver and copperware, leather, carpets and souvenirs. Here, you can also see many fine examples of typical Ottoman architecture.
The tour includes lunch at one of the restaurants over-looking the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus Mountains.

DEMRE & MYRA & KEKOVA

Pick Up From Your Hotel .Our exciting day starts by 2 hours driving to Finike from Antalya where we will have a short tea break before continuing to Demre.

We will board to our boats at Demre and sail towards Ucagiz where we can see the ancient city of Simena and the Kekova Sunken City and also have a chance to swim.

Kekova is an island paradise meaning “Home of the sun”. It is also the name for the whole area of picturesque islands, numerous bays and ancient cities. These bays provide natural harbours in all seasonal and here too, nature is united with history creating a harmony rarely seen. Along the northern shore of Kekova Island (Apollona), structural movements of the land over many centuries have caused some of the houses to be totally submerged, while remains of others are scattered along the shore. A birds eye view of the whole scenic of bays, inlets islands and yachts sailing peacefully on the smooth water is seen from the Kale Castle (Simena).

Lunch will be taken at Demre, the ancient city of Myra, which is especially known for Noel Baba (Saint Nicholas), who was the Bishop of this Mediterranean city during 4th century and who died here in 325.

Every year on December 6, the Saint Clause commemoration ceremony is held attracting many tourists, who spend their Christmas holidays on the sunny coast of ancient Lycia. There, you can also see the rock tombs that are built high up in the rock face and have the appearance of little houses.

FULL DAY TOURPERGE, ASPENDOS, KURŞUNLU WATERFALL

Depart from the hotel to visit Perge. An important city of ancient Pamphylian, Perge was originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC. St. Paul preached some of his first sermons here. The theater stage has finely carved marble reliefs; other carvings from around the city are displayed in the stadium. Amateur archaeologists will want to see the handsome city gate flanked by two lofty towers, a long colonnaded road once paved with mosaics and lined with shops, a large agora, the public baths and a gymnasium.

Aspendos one of the best preserved theatres in the world with seating for 15,000. Still used today, the theater galleries, stage decorations and acoustics all testify to the architects success. Nearby stand the remains of a basilica, agora and one of the largest aqueducts in Anatolia. It is commonly believed that Aspendos was founded by colonist from Argos. We with then proceed to Kursunlu Waterfalls for a refreshing break.
